I agree! Take it back! Surely it's got some sort of warranty on it?

My OH threw out the box & instructions so not sure if it came with a warranty or anything.. theres nothing online about returning faulty products that have been used. the toaster I had previously only cost £8 and lasted me aaaages lol

Yes I have a le creuset griddle pan and its perfick - especially for salmon or steaks! Heavy even base is what you want from a griddle pan - actually I think I may have got mine from JL -

I won one of those last month..haven't used it yet...can't lift it. :D

My toaster the duliat one cost £190, I know thats a lot for a toaster but ive had it 7 years and still looks as good as the day i bought it no problems what so ever. I just tried to fix my cheep tumble dryer as it was only £150 and they wanted £95 to come and fix it. Well I always think iam a dab hand at fixing things and the OH is useless, so got the hand drill out got a bit carried away its now in 20 diffrent pieces all over my hall and I cant get it to fit back together:rolleyes: , so guess I need a new tumble dryer....

Thats great news for you Lou, did I read you were saving for a new car??Unfortunatly I have savings (not that much though) and no mortgage, so my interest rate goes down

Yes, we have had no car for six months now, wanted to see how we would get on, we don't use it much, and to save money. But we can now get one with the vouchers I have won on both Snaps so no need to touch savings. I know the base rate cut isn't good news for savers, but with only one salary coming in, these mortgage cuts are a lifeline for us.
