Liverpool Victoria Mutual Investment Bond

As a result of an e mail I sent to BBC2's Working Lunch, I was invited to record an interview yesterday concerning the swingeing MVA's that LV are applying to this bond. The interview will be shown today (4 January) between 1:30 and 2pm and following a phone call from the BBC today for more details, it is hope that someone from LV will appear.

Well done. It will be interesting to see how they explain that since the fund has not had to reduce equities and property before the market upturn AFAIK.

I hope they say that you will get a pleasant surprise when you get your New Year statement.

Norwich Union have just announced the fifth of a series of MVR cuts on their unitised with profits fund.

Thanks, it was a bit nerve wracking to do, you want to say all these things in 30 seconds and then you forget them, but I thnk the other lady who also appeared hit the nail on the head. At the very least, it has given the problem some publicity.

I did get "nailed" but at least I didn't lose money on the deal!
