Icesave - No 2nd e- mail yet but successsful initiated refund

I have been logging into the Icesave web site daily whilst waiting for the 2nd email. Well just now I logged on and a screen came with the heading APPLICATION in green. There was a 7 parapgraph message inviting me to claim my refund. After clicking the continue button this went to my account page where I pressed 'Initiate' and I was able to complete the transfer in approx 30 seconds. So advice is keep checking the icesave web site and log in. I am surname W so maybe they are getting close to the end. Best of luck everyone who hasnt got theirs yet. Wont be long now.

    Just checked e mails again. FSA one arrived few minutes after I had initiated the refund. So perhaps it came around the same time as I was entering the Icesave web site. I certainly didnt have the email 30 seconds before I went onto Icesave.

    I'm going to take your advice and keep trying the IceSave website every day although no success yet (my surname begins with A so I hope there is no link with them being issued in alphabetical order otherwise I am in trouble!)
  • i did 2 claims yesterday on my a/c's, without 2nd email, it did appear later on tho, & 1 claim now on OH's, with 2nd email received.

    the 2nd email received today is definitely worded different to the 1 i got yesterday & the Application page within the process is new too.

    possibly the process has now been 'opened up' to those missing emails?

    Don't worry - my surname begins with A and I just got the second e-mail and claimed. I'd keep trying if I were you, and more than once a day, as I had already logged on twice today without success.

  • well I just went to follow your advice as I said I would and noticed that I had received the 2nd email just after 4pm today - hurrah!
  • don't lose heart - just received second email and initiated the transfer - fantastic not to have to worry about it any more.

  • Logged onto mine and it says on my ISA account same as usual,but there is a button saying "initiate " its under the heading FSCS claims.Should I press it ,says can not long after this and I havent received second email yet.
  • Hi I logged in yesterday and hadnt had 2nd email and managed to transfer my funds to,keep trying the site daily
    Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:
