                    Hello, Been with Supanet Broadband for coming up to two years, a few months ago I was on there website and noticed that the price of all there broadband packages had changed and my exact same package was £10 cheaper a month, so I called and was told that they had only come into effect and that of course I could change to cheaper one. That was fine so following month I was paying £10 less.
However few months down line and I'm currently selling house and went to cancel they are saying cause I changed its a new contract and that I am tied in for 12 months or to pay £135 for rest of term! Surely they cant do this with out telling me or having me sign something?! Any help?

            Just found this in their terms and conditions
 14.1.1 Cancellation of your account within 24 months of your
 account activation date or most recent upgrade will incur a
 cancellation charge of £39.99. If cancellation occurs before the
 expiry of the Minimum Period you will also be liable to pay the
 Charges that would otherwise accrue during the remainder of
 the Minimum Period.
 I guess they consider your change as a 'most recent upgrade'
 Minimum Period " means the minimum subscription period that
 applies to the broadband package you ordered from Supanet as
 set out on the Supanet portal, in your order confirmation and
 viewable in My Account, and commencing on the Start Date;
 See if the upgrade date is viewable in your "my Account"if not you *might* have a caseWaddle you do eh?0

            no need to sign anything, you ticked a box agreeing to the terms that you should have read0

            we didnt tho, it was "upgraded" over the phone?!!!!!
 I think the point is when you signed your original contract you agreed to the terms and conditions and this includes the 'most recent upgrade' which happened to be over the phone.
 As I said originally I'd check the My Account and see if that upgrade date is reflected in there - if not it may be an out.Waddle you do eh?0
