Sounds to me like the Toni & Guy "2 for £7" offer which originally included 1litre packs of shampoo and conditioner (normal price £8.99 I think)! Ouch!

At the end of the promotion I think the TD lady deserves a chair...... well she'll be worn out by then !!! :rotfl:

At the very least it sounds like the poor love's due a cup of tea!

I picked up about 10 of these TD/DR vouchers and I've redeemed 3 for myself, 2 for a friend, given the rest off to friends, mum's at school gates etc, so long as they can use them and they can treat themselves. I'm happy with what I got today. I wouldn't have the total nerve to clear shelves, it's ashame because it spoils it for other more reserved folk who only take one or two things, like me. I also didn't go for cheapest DR products, so I did pay something towards them but I did get a good deal too. Boots got something, and I got some goodies/treats for my birthday, I'm happy. It's just ashame that a minority of people have to be utterly greedy and spoil it for everyone, and possibly have restrictive conditions applied to these offers in the future. Why block the drain, if we are all reserved with the offers then they will continue. If people are greedy beyond belief then they will pull the plug on the good offers or just put seriously restricting conditions on them. Who knows, they may even have conditions attached to points on our AD cards. Who knows, just ashame that some people are so greedy and empty shelves.

Hi my fellow Cardiff member, you are very lucky in the Cardiff Bay store - I went in yesterday knew that the DR had been on buy one get one free so bought 2 reduced, SA put them through and they went off BOGOF - great, she then took the £5 off and asked for £9.49 so I queried. The items had gone through at full price, she called manager and he wouldnt let me have them on BOGOF as said reduced and wouldnt let me have £5 off either because reduced, I said I think he is wrong but not willing to argue. I have now given up with Cardiff Bay store its not worth the hassal if the manager is an idiot

Greetings Sandra - thanks for posting. One thing I have learnt is that it's always good to ask the question, so tomorrow I will phone Boots CS and ask them if his policy contravenes Boots change one thing promotion, I believe that no where on the voucher does it state "reduced or sale price items are excluded from the promotion" although I haven't got one infront of me at the mo. I rarely go to Boots Cardiff Bay anyway and I am not going to cause trouble, because I wouldn't or make a scene, I just simply would like clarification from Boots CS. I will post tomorrow and let you know what they say.

It seems to be on a quick look that the Boots TD/DR vouchers have saturated the market place. To sell 10 vouchers for 99p including postage, seems to me, alot of effort for little gain, especially when you consider listing fee, charge for photo etc. Is that a profit of about 69p ? I used to be a Powerseller on ebay but cannot remember the costs offhand and if they pay by paypal another charge. I wouldn't waste my time - I would rather send/give them to people who have been unable to get their own vouchers.

went into the st ives store this afternoon, so me and my mum could get a face whipe each and she found a oil of evening primrose body lotion for £1.20, so she was chuffed!

There is a huge amount of reduced item hair/skin ranges! while i was looking at the reduced items there was an SA putting more out i over heard her say something to another one about a £5 off voucher (i thought yes :j another bargain) but she was talking about the daniele ryman voucher and sayin that she had just reduced a daniele ryman set for about £4 or £5's, the other SA said oh i'll have that and went and put it away for later to get it for herself! are the SA's suppose to take these and use the vouchers before the customers can? although to be fair everyone should get the chance but thats the first DR thing i had seen and i was soooo excited about getting it!!!

also on the reduced section i also found a aromatherapy hand cream and pulse point gel in a pretty blue bag it had £5 on it but i thought i try it with the voucher and it came up at £1.25 but i couldnt use the voucher but i got it anyway cause i thought what a bargain! :T
