Most of these products are designed to last, if they're left unopened they'll last ages, I dont think a year is a long time in the life of creams and lotions.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

WoooHooo I found more leaflets in Croydon Boots, although they had nothing under £5! I went for the Daniel Ryman stuff and got bogof too, so spent £4 on hand cream and a spot thingy!0

Maybe and we don't know when these items where manufactured as not all put the dates on. So they could already be a year old. And boots are flogging off the old TD range in the silver boxes. And that was phased out last Feb/march so is already a year old.
But I personally will not take a chance as I value my health and skin well above a few cheap or free products.
I have noticed that it seems that all skin care/shampoo/makeup are now putting on them dates in which to use.
Most makeup should be binned after about 6-12 months. I finally got my mother to bin a 5 year old eyeshadow that she still had and insisted on using her fingers to put it on with
You have to be very careful with eye makeup as once you start to use it there are bugs that can get in to it that can make you go blind.
So to me better to be safe than sorry.
But each to there own and if you happy then keep using it.

Most of the time delay products are ok for 12-24 months after opening. A few exceptions are the eye creams they are 6 months.
I have No7 exfoliator that I got with the vouchers from the sunday paper back last march. I don't think I opened it straight away. But it has been open for at least 6 months. When it gets to 12 months I will bin it finished or not. Even though it say 24 months. Wasteful maybe. But I just feel happier about it.
It is a personal thing and you have to be happy with what you are doing. Mind you I noticed that a lot of my face creams. I have two night and day one. Don't seem to last as long as I think they should LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, it's true, you would need a very big face indeed to use the whole wipe.:D
And there is no way I am keeping any TD stuff until next christmas to give as presents. My mum will get a couple of items for mothers day which is late March this year. And that is about it.
But what about the aromatherapy candles - do you think they will "keep" till christmas?

IMO I think that the shelf life of the TD products is a lot longer than most people seem to think, many years I believe, otherwise there would be use by dates on them. After they are opened it is a different story0

Not all the Boots stores seem to have the DR stuff.
I got a couple of lots of Botanics things troday in the Poynton store they had loads on the reduced shelf got them for bogoff as well, in Cheadle the other day she refused to do the bogoff on the reduced Botanics. Also got a TD eye cream.0 -
gutted!!
went into boots today(third time this week and it's only wed!) armed with my list of things to get- should have listened to someone on the site who said the £5 offer fin yesterday (but you can still use them until the 31st) anyway
i WAS going to top up all the family's phones(£5 No 7 voucher)
and WAS going to fill my boots with N0 7 3 for 2 offers and use my £5 vouchers which i would have got free when i topped up my phones.....grrrrrr
they are now giving away £3 haircare vouchers to spend on certain hair products ie: dear ones like-toni and guy, john frieda, trevor sorbie, mark hill, charles worthington and lee stafford.
O well i still have a couple of TD vouchers left so i will keep my eye out..lol!0 -

I am not try to worry people or scaremonger. I am just pointing out that I for one am not going to be storing these items for long periods of time from personal choice. I assume there are no use by dates on them is because boots assume that people will not be storing the stuff for no more than 6 month to a year.
And I find it strange that boots don't have manufacture dates on them as even my 99p henna wax from the cheap shop does and even an expiry date as well. And that has less chemcials in then most of the TD stuff.
But then yes please all of you stock up for years to come. So when the next to good to be true offer comes I can get it all. And you will be going but I can't get any as I have to use up my 300 packets of wipes :rotfl:
Sorry could not resist that last bit just to wind a few people up
