Is the Danielle Ryman range BOGOF in all Boots? I want to pop into Boots for the last few vouchers and if they've wised up to TD stuff I may as well treat myself to Danielle Ryman stuff. :D

(even better if anyone knows if it's for the oxford cornmarket st boots!)

Sutton Coldfield - IIRC Jenk uses this store too?

They had no TD under £5 yesterday about 5pm.

Did have some half-price DR. (End of TD aisle next to the Roc stuff). I checked with the really sweet SA whether the DR was BOGOF - she said it was! :)

Got 2 x Soothing Peony Eye Gel's, 2 x (Green) Contour Lifts things, and 2 x Three Rose Face Masks.

Went back to same SA and reminded her she'd just said they were BOGOF. She said, "but they're reduced", but I somehow managed to convince her that they're half-price and BOGOF. :D Then presented my £5 off voucher, and she said she didn't think I could use that too, but I got her to try it anyway and the till accepted it - so 2 Eye Gels, originally £31 for £2.75!

(You may need the gift of the gab and a winning smile to get this one - but they had a few left.)

The till wouldn't let me do the same with the Contour Lift packs, so I left them. Did manage to get the Three Rose Face Masks and got those 2 for £3.50 using BOGOF, half-price and voucher.

Also got an Essentials Orange Blossom & Bergamot 250ml Bath Essence for £2.50 less £1 voucher.

Am still shocked to be using real cash again in Boots though - I want my points back. :D

Found another voucher by accident tonight - I'd kept a copy of nearly all the Change One Thing booklets to have a proper read-thru when I get a spare moment. But had completely forgotten to remove the voucher from this one! If you've done the same, maybe worth checking to see if you've also got an extra voucher. :)

Also, a good MoneySaving tip if you've now got old skincare products that you were going to throw away is to re-use them in the shower. Old face scrub is great for body scrub, facial wash becomes hand-wash or shower-gel and moisturisers are great for adding to shower-gel, though probably best to mix them as you use them rather than "ready-mixed" in the bottle. After you've used shower gel, turn the water away from your body, use old moisturiser as body lotion, leave for a minute, and then giving yourself a final rinse (like softener in the washing machine!). Do that after a body scrub and you'll be soft as a baby! :D

Finally, a public thank you to limey who very kindly posted me some TD vouchers the other day. Cheers! :D

When I went in last week, it was the sales assistant that was encouraging me to get another one free along with my voucher. Just shows the different responses you can get from different people. They have moved the leaflets near to the tills in my store, not sure if people were noticing them where they were previosly as they were tucked away in a corner.

  • Hiya

First time I've used the site, although I have been browsing since December.

I've got quite a few TD bits and bobs due to looking on here.

    Just to let anyone know.....

The Boots in Ashton under Lyne now has a sign up saying 'ONLY ONE PER CUSTOMER' (gits)

but they still have a couple of the eye creams left at £5.50.

The Boots in Piccadilly in Manchester has only got limited stuff left, and I'm now wondering if, like someone posted yesterday, they will stop the promotion from tomorrow.

Ah well, at least I got my freebies - although I don't like the handcream - it seems to leave a 'film' on my hands and they don't really feel clean....

But how do they know - how are they going to monitor that?
Does it mean per visit or per person?
Are they going to stamp your hand to proove you've had one already that day? I think we should be told! ;)

    Palm print readers? ;)

I was thinking about this t'other night. Say you wanted 2 x moisturisers (£10 less £5 vouchers) as separate transactions. Would they really refuse to accept the second voucher - and therefore lose that sale which will bring in another fiver?

That takes me back some years to when I went to nightclubs and they would stamp your hand to know that you had paid and you could back in again free.

Mind you I wonder if they are going to trawl through all the AD cards to see who used there cards to get TD/DR items for free and then ban them. :rotfl:

I hope not as I have £17 ish on my card. :rotfl:

I've just got back from Bromley Boots and the Orange and Bergamot candles scanned at 74p so with the lilac voucher it was free. I got two.

I also got two of the TD face mask for a pound each.

Then I used some points for an eyeshadow so that was free.

Then I used the £5 No. 7 voucher with the 3 for 2 offer and got a nail varnish, some wipes and some eye cream for £7.

I've just added it up quickly in my head and I've come home with well over £30 of goodies for £9! It feels a bit naughty. :p

I haven't used my Boots Advantage card for the TD things, I'm scared of getting caught!
