A lot pof Boots branches have gotten really funny about this now and my local store are saying that there are no more supplies at the warehouse.
I've heard 'from the inside' that they're actually holding back any stock til the vouchers run out. They said that it was the greedy people who come in and get several products that have spoiled it for everyone else.
Apparently someone came into the store and filled two baskets of the under-a-fiver stuff and they had to be removed by security as obviously they wouldn't serve him.
It has been mentioned that the staff DO remember people who return!
They've also removed the rest of the booklets from the shop floor for the obvious reasons and those people on E-Bay who are selling the vouchers should be shot!
It may have been prudent to link the vouchers to advantage card holders to ensure the was only one per person!Watch out people. You don't know what lurks around the corner for you![/SIZE]0 -
I only take one or two products, it's nice to get a freebie here and there and I do spend a lot in Boots throughout the year. I got two packs of the TD wipes, just one at a time, two separate trips. I would never have the nerve to fill a basket with free stuff, that is just being greedy and it is ashame that it spoils for everyone else. I just got a pack for myself and a pack for a friend that lives miles away from any Boots stores. Might see if I can get the cleanser wash stuff if it every comes back in but that's about it. Toiletries only have a certain number of months shelf life too. I just take some for my own personal use, not to finance me for the next year by selling on Ebay!!!!!!!!!!!“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. For the few items I have got I used different tills as well as different SA's. And different shops as I have 4 each roughly 7 miles away in different directions.
I may well see if I can get another hand cream as they are lovely and my hands feel so soft. And look the best they have done in years. Could be due to keep it right next to my laptop so I can put it on as and when I feel the need.
If I can get somemore I can if not then I am not bothered.
I agree that skin cream etc has shortish shelf life. So what I have got used wisely will last me between 6 months and year. If I cut the wipes in half as they are to big for my face anway.
And there is no way I am keeping any TD stuff until next christmas to give as presents. My mum will get a couple of items for mothers day which is late March this year. And that is about it.
That is why I am bit iffy about getting a lot of smellies sets from after christmas now. As I am not 100% sure of what it will be like come the next christmas. And what happens if they decided to re-gift it for the following christmas

i went into both boots in hamilton today and there were no time delay items under a fiver plus the SA wouldnt let me use my No7 voucher on the sun preperation gift set, i was quite glad really because i went to EK and bought it there and handed over 2 300 points vouchers and it took them both off so they really paid me 2 quid to take it away.
Not many TD in Ek although they have the old stock with the silver packaging at the back of the store and the voucher works with them too.0 -

LOL, it's true, you would need a very big face indeed to use the whole wipe.:D

But what about the aromatherapy candles - do you think they will "keep" till christmas?

There are people on other forums that are saying they are keeping these to give as gift baskets for christmas and also putting TD wipes in there shoeboxes at christmas.
I have candles that I bought from Ikea that are about two years old. And they still burn fine. The only thing I would say is that it might not smell as it is suppose to by keeping it that long.
