Help with Wireless

Which I why I advised against using this software! Totally unnecessary and it has got you no further on with your wireless connection problem, so not really helpful at all.
Well aren't you a nice person! <- Sarcasm!
That error message suggests it may be worth re-installing the wireless card's network adapter drivers but we'd need to know the make and model of your laptop to find the right ones. I don't think this is the problem however as you've said you can connect fine to other wireless networks
I'd suggest trying to set the router up manually following advice previously posted by others.0 -

Have a look at page 25 onwards - "3.2 Web-Based Easy Setup"
http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/pdf/Manuals/R531/ST585_InstallSetup_en.pdf
If you can't get it to work after this it may be worth resetting the router and starting over using this guide here.0 -

Go in to you router settings and change the channel selection from automatic to manual. Now select channel 3 and apply the settings. This will stop any wireless conflict from the BT Home hubs as these will usually default to channel 1 or 11.
Now check your wireless security. The speedtouch may have been set to use WPA encryption, not all network adaptors can use this encryption and so will either drop the connection periodically or not connect at all. For the purpose of testing change this to disabled and save settings.
Now right click on the wireless icon in your taskbar and click status, and the properties. Click the wireless networks tab and click use windows to configure my wireless network settings and click OK, your laptop should now be connected to the router, let me know.0
