Well done everyone adn congrats to Jenny. I'm already wishing the days away so I can get paid on 15th and then pay off some more debts. I think this is starting to affect me in a very odd way!0

I know what you mean Sarah - I am obsessed at the moment! I can't stop looking at my spreadsheets and calculating things in different ways.
I am wishing away every day so that I can pay more off...Paying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -
I decided to work on actual things paid off, i feel i can cope better that way..so I have paid off £900, i am waiting for a cheque to clear, although that is in bank as we speak so that will be another £40..and not forgetting my ground busting 26p, quidco and the 1p found in the couch..actually I can add another 5p to that:rotfl: :rotfl: ooh just off to update the extra 5p:cool:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hi all, know I'm a bit late but can I join for the full 20k please. Like a few others I will be running Jan 1st-Dec 31st so won't be counting anything I do yet. I've paid off a fair bit since my LBM in August, and don't actually have 20k left to pay, but I need a house deposit so I figure anything I can make now is reducing the debt I WILL have in a few years when I get a mortgage!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Congratulations Jenny!
Updated my sig to show payments that have now cleared. Would love to try to get sub £18k by Christmas. Still got Envirofone cheque for old phone to clear so that will be another £47 when I pay it to a CC, so just another £60 or so to find!0 -
Welcome to all newbie challengers!! I will add you to the list on the front page over the next day or so.

Thank you - it is a good start, but it needs to be if I am going to be in with a chance of reaching my targets!
I am aiming to pay off £10k by Easter, another £10k by the end of the summer holidays and £10k by Christmas, which will leave me with about £10k of debt which I can just whizz off early in 2010.
