(Damn, I had £250 of Pick and Mix from Woolies for my 25 year celebration at work, paid for by my company. Seems I will not get my pick and mix now)

    Blimey...:D

You will if you are quick about it ;)
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

  • I would go down the local building site and get me a digger, After opening up and retrieving said sofa, one could always check out the local woolies.

Thieving again are we - runs in the family...
  • I had a similar problem with MFI, in the end I went on the trading standards website and got a template letter to send - the one I used was that goods should be delivered in a reasonable amount of time as per Sale of Goods Act and that I felt I'd been kept waiting an unreasonable length of time and they still couldn't give me a date.... they called me the next day and said I could go down and get a full refund, which I did.

But they hadn't gone into administration quite at that time, I know a lot of stores were set to close but ours was still going.

Alternatively I had rang the credit card company to ask about a section 75 consumer credit act claim and it seemed straight forward enough if I had needed to go that way.
