Not really, though im suprised it runs at all whilst using Mcafee
XP needs 1 gig to run smoothly
Vista needs 1.5 to run smoothly:idea:0 -
done the scan its saying i have 512mb thats wrong isnt it? mine is 183mb. should i really get rid of mcafee free trial and download another then?have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0

512mb is correct (0.5 gig)
If mcafees on a trial youll need to sort another anti virus when it runs out anyways so yes, id say so
But i still HIGHLY recommend 1 gig ram
For anti virus software ~
AVAST or AVIRA
And you need a firewall
PCTOOLS or COMODO or ZONEALARM:idea:0 -
will windows firewall not do then? ok will remove mcafee and download 1 of above thanks.
as you know i know nothing about pc's but is it poss for me to add ram or will i have to take it to retailer?have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
Its unbelievably easy
Do you have a desktop pc or a laptop?
Windows XPs firewall is awful in that it lets programs call outwards (Meaning if spyware DID infect your computer, nothing would stop it sending information out from your computer):idea:0 -
RAM is very easy to install. You just open it up, slot it in, and close it again.0
