A alternative to Paypal

SEE MORE HERE

http://www.moneybookers.com/
Moneybooker, the UK alternative to payapl, you can pay for all you on-line purchase's.

I have posted this in the referal section, but there is a non referal link.

I have poted it here for 2 reasons,
1- your opinions.
2- feedup with paying payapl charges.

Isn't it against eBay's latest rule on Western Union and similar methods? Even Nochex falls foul of that one.
    Can I help?

No, its not against ebay rules, it is that they heavy promote Paypal, because then they get 2 bites of your cherry(money).

Moneybrookers is a UK based company, regulated by the FSA, unlike Ebay and Paypal which are American.

The issue of electronic money is a 'regulated activity' under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the EU directive on electronic money. Moneybookers Ltd. is authorised by the FSA to issue electronic money as a specialised electronic money issuer subject to regulatory requirements and supervision.

Yes, stay well clear of Western Union(nigerian/canadian scammers).
But i have found Nochex to be fine.

    Thank for you comments.

This is correct. We are not allowed to link to the refferal board from any other board on the site.

I am using Moneybookers myself but not normally for eBay purchases.

Moneybookers is great for foreign currency transfer, but the best alternative to Paypal on eBay are bank transfers (of course they aren't for plumb1, because he/she can't possibly get any referral fees for bank transfers)

Seeing as you are now aware that linking to the refferal board is against the rules. Why don't you replace the link to the refferers board with a (non refferal) link to the site? This would make your post totally compatible with the rules, and still give everyone an opportunity to discuss this payment method.

You are correct, i personaly am very against giving my bank details out to anybody on ebay.
If i was mearly posting on this thread to gain referals, i would need 100 just to recieve £10, hardly worth it imo.
It was for feedback and to make people awere of an alternative.

Thb i think you are having a personal dig at me again, because i reported yourself to the abuse team, and a Mod had to post guidance.
I hope i am very wrong.

Please feel free to make more valuable comments about Moneybrookers and avoid personal attacks.

Very funny. You replaced a link to the refferal post with a link to the refferal board (both these links are against the rules of the site). You could have just as easily replaced the link with a link to https://www.moneybookers.com and your post would have fitted the rules of this site. It looks like you are taking the pee at the moment.

    Reported to abuse.
