Virgin cable connection for new build house?

I have moved to a new build property. It is located on a site of 20 new build houses. In the past there were houses on this site which had been demolished. On my side of the street there are old houses at both ends of the new houses.

Unfortunately my house number doesnt come up on Virgin medias website and when I phone them they give me a number to the automated spotters line and say I have to wait for the spotters to come out and check if i can get the cable or not. Its been 2 months and no response despite phoning them several times. I know for a fact that the cable runs through the pavement outside my house as there are CATV hole covers in the new pavment and the numbers of old houses on both end come up on Virgins site.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help how I can get them to check the situation and let me know of the outcome....apparently the call centre ppl havent got a clue!
