I need to send about $7500~ to Tanzania to pay for upcoming holiday. What is the best way to pay/transfer the money to the Tanzanian travel company's bank account  please?
Are you sure it is safe to pay by electronic transfer? Your entire money will be lost if the company folds, or worse, doesn't exist. Pay at least some of the amount by credit card, to get S75 protection. If they don't take credit card, I would run a mile.

monito.com will help you finding the best deal for an electronic transfer.

I was thinking of using revolut, is that any good?.
I am doing (need to do) the transfer in 2 parts. I have already paid a 12.5% deposit many months ago. Just need to pay half the remaining amount one week before arrival and the remainder of once we get there.
It is a trusted Safari company with a long history of business and lots of feedback and reviews.
Would revolut be a good way of doing this or would there be better ways of doing these two transfers please?

Does this trusted Safari company accept card payment or not..?
Are you already a Revolut user for some time..?
    Evolution, not revolution

They did take card payment before but now not taking it as their card payment company is taking 3.5% commission.
I have created a revolut account recently, but not used it yet/before

FWIW, if it was me, alarm bells would be ringing. I would suggest you proceed with extreme caution.
    Edit
If they will not let you pay even a token part-payment by credit card then I would agree with Daliah, above, and give it a miss.

I already paid 12.5% of the total as a deposit back in December via credit card payment

In which case, you should be covered by Section 75, assuming it is obvious that it is all about the same holiday.

As mentioned earlier. monito.com should help you find the best deal for an electronic transfer.

Though please don't take this as a recommendation for making the payment by electronic transfer.

    Thank you.

Is revolut not very good or expense to use for transfer money overseas?
