Jim, don't know why your name and multifarious talents didn't spring to mind earlier.
Now you've de-fluffed your w/m filter, kindly speed your good self to fix my printer and my lawnmower....usual virtual verre de vin for tous devoirs satisfactorily completed.
Hope you've had a fair weekend, although I realise you'll have been busy, busy, busy apart from DIY.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Yes very busy. Helped Ian move out yesterday, he had nothing ready and was total chaos. Came home at 12pm and spent 7 hours cleaning and decorating the room, woke up at 5.30am this morning and inspected my handiwork, it looks very good. Re hung the curtains, mopped the tiles and am about to clean the windows then it is done. I had to take a break to go to the Dr's. I had blood and urine test done last week and they said the results will ready in a week but you don't have to call if there is anything wrong we will contact you. Well last Thursday I got the letter asking me to make an appointment to discuss my urine sample, this I didn't expect, blood yes maybe.
I have just returned and have been informed that my kidneys are releasing protein which is not good and especially not good if you are diabetic. I have to go back for more blood tests next week before they start me on more medication for the rest of my life. Nice. I like the Dr he is very straight forward and whilst I was there he said "good news though, you qualify for a flu jab, roll up your sleeve". Cheeky. He had the damn thing ready on his desk for me when I got there.0 -
You clearly worked miracles yesterday and this morning. Jim.
Well done -
Rough news with the urine test result: I'm not v. up on diabetes and its complexities. Can you think of it as another bullet for your well-populated ammo belt?

Had never heard of him before, but some of it was deliciously[and suitably cruelly] accurate. Some clever writing, to buoy me up after seeing the still joyous Ben Elton, still in fine polemic form, +2 on Dave last night. Only saw it by chance as I mispressed turn-off button.
As this Govt goes on, I know I'll be clinging increasingly to such comedians to help me through to next election, as through the filth and venality of Thatcher. I will live long enough to see them off.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Dont stress about the protein thing. Everyone i know who is a diabetic has it. They said i had it 8 years ago and noone has put me on any medication other than insulin. Dont let them get you down. All you can do is control your sugars and you are doing a sterling job of that. Stay happy dude. Remember you rock! :j:beer:Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Went to the Brighton comedy festival last night to see the very funny Kevin Bridges. It was a sell out performance and he had the corn exchange rolling about in laughter, I would definitely recommend that if anyone has the chance to see him to give him a go.

In fact I've just checked the rest of his tour and it is mostly sold out now- I am not surprised. At the end of the month I am off to see Jim Jeffries http://jimjefferies.ning.com/ and he has a reputation for being outrageous, I can't wait to be offended.

Just has a letter from the DCA dealing with some of my MBNA debt (I say some as it has been split into two between two different dca) they have very kindly offered to let me settle for 50% of the total balance, not bad you might think except that MBNA offered a 75% discount a year ago so I know that the DCA purchased the debt for 75% of its total value- crafty idiots. I could offer them about £100 but on £6k I don't think they'll accept.0
