Slow loading in Firefox?

Afternoon all,
This has been bugging me for a while (so much so that I gave up coming here for a week or 2...), but the load times for firefox seem terrible in comparison to IE. I've done a search and Rex Mundi seemed to be getting the same issue, the page would load about a third of the way then wait a minute or 2 then finish. I like my tabbed browsing, so I tend to open the chat forums then my 4 fav rooms. From the main forum list I can only see 1 of the rooms (techie) which I click onto another tab. I have to wait quite a while for the I wanna, shop \ drop and grabbit to appear and even when they do it'll be another couple of minutes before I can actually click through to them.
Out of interest I tried accessing it in IE and it beats it FLAT out, from nothing to all 4 rooms open in about 20 seconds (about 4 minutes in firefox).
Any idea what's going on? Rex did you get yours working?
