Mybet affiliate Scum!

GIOL = Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes. I think they don't normally allow affiliates to post there, particularly if you don't state your personal interest in the offer.0

It looks to me (without knowledge of their affiliate program) that they have calculated your commission generously, as they said.
[using approximate numbers] Through your affiliate link, 350 people appear to have made gross deposits totalling approx. €70000 (transaction costs €1400) to get a collective bonus of €35000. On qualifying bets (and possibly the free bets as well?) these 350 customers have lost €8660 (only 12% of original stakes, but you did advertise it to MBers...).
Your calculation shows that Mybet are of the opinion that the definition of 'Net revenue' in respect of customers arriving through your affiliate link is (Gross deposits - any costs incurred), and those 'any costs incurred' include: transaction costs on initial deposits, gambling taxes, marketing incentives (i.e. the free bet with which you enticed people to use your affiliate link).
The full cost incurred by Mybet for the business you brought them seems to have been in the order of €37000 - gambling revenue of €8660 = -€28340. It's little wonder they don't want that type of business if each new client costs them €80, only to take the money and run (which they will if you advertise mostly to MBers).
All I can advise you to do is check which 'marketing costs' it was agreed in your affiliate contract that you wouldnt be liable for. I suspect it may be written to mean advertising etc, and that you agreed that the bonus payable would be deducted in the net revenue calculation.0 -
Okey I am 100% sure that our new member (sbothwell 3 posts) is part of mybet affiliate team. Just look at the facts and numbers he is talking about. He knows everything what we discussed. That could write only someone who is insider.
ANW we have all the freedom of speech don't we
So I bring you my last email I got from them. My reply follows too.Dear Jasmin,
I’ve checked the forum posts and I saw the reply from someone saying you should be pleased with myBet (better deal, special terms and you got paid even generating a loss). Since my colleague (Björn Zoellmer) was dealing with your complaints at the end, I would also like to share with you my finial words.
First of all, please have a look one more time in to the all over data from the beginning till today:
and tell me if there is still something you don’t understand? Our Sportsbook hold includes the BONUS amount; therefore the bonus has to be deducted! Same goes for payment costs - these are the processing costs. (Credit cards, e-wallets…) All this are costs that an affiliate shares with the operator in a NET REVENUE SHARE agreement that we had and I explained all this to you in several emails. Why you did not ask then? Even if you disregard the calculation, just have a look at deposits minus withdrawals: it is a minus of 14.928€. I believe this is a very clear picture even for someone with no experience in this industry.
I really believe you should be extremely satisfied that we made the special adjustment for you, deducting only 10% of the bonus costs so you received a very fair commission considering the fact that we made an 27,763.96€ operating loss from your campaign only by the end of October, by the end of November it will be over 50.000€.
I’ve seen you removed the campaign from your site, thank you for this. Just for your information, your campaign was already terminated; the bonus plan will be deactivated tomorrow in case you still have some posts about the bonus in the forums.
I wish you lots of success for the future with your gaming business.Hi there,
No I am not satisfied with your cooperation at all.
I bring you so much players and you say that now I should almost owe you some money, which is not true.
It makes no sense to give 40% commission from what you deduct every possible fee, like "payment costs" what I have to do with that ?
If you paid me 10€ CPA for each player I would be rich now and you could have your players depositing more money.
But you continue to work with your unfair rules which will discourage every future affiliate to join.
I have the right to inform them about that and will post this on every forum I know.
At the end you had no right to terminate my account without no reason.
All I did is complained you about payout and you find the right to close it
BTW I am negotiating with legal institutions about this problem.
You will get the results very soon.

All the figures I talked about were from the statement that You (thats YOU) posted further up the thread. If I was part of any affiliate team anywhere I certainly wouldn't be discussing things like this on a public forum. What I attempted to do was explain to you, from the figures and information that You (thats YOU) provided, where I thought the breakdown of your commission came from.
You appear unwilling to consider the fact that you misinterpreted the meaning of terms in your contract. From the further email you provided, it appears they have tried to explain to you several times what 'net value' means (both in general and to them in the terms of your contract).
In the end, you should not agree to be a party to a contract which you do not fully understand, especially one involving money. As I said, I attempted to explain to you how in general terms I would have arrived at the figures they offered for commission - the fact that I can understand general business logic does not make me an 'insider', either at mybet or anywhere else.0 -
