 Everyones rich cept for me :rotfl:
Im not really at all. The reason mine looks so much is because I am very very careful with money and always have been. My SOA compared to most others, has very low outgoings on it.
Tight by name and Tight by nature. I would never dream on spending £50 a month on mobiles or £50 on sky.
Although I do like my holidays.
Its not always been like this though, a few years ago before dd was born, dh and me manage to pay all bills and food and car (everything apart from rent.) on £75 a wk between us.0 -
Thanks to the Govt robbing me of £500/month by dropping interest rates, I have £20/week left after basic bills.0

I have lived on various amounts over the years. I have never found it difficult to manage. If I werent so good with money my figure would be around 2/3 of what it is.
I have been on a massive elec usage mission this last few wks. Having what I have spare I obviously dont need to, but I do. I dont like waste. Lining the pockets of others is a waste to me. I'd rather spend it on something I can get real enjoyment out of.0 -

Titeas - it wasn't a criticism of your managing skills, but a statement that it wouldn't matter how well I managed money we do not have £2150 coming into this house BEFORE bills.0

£563
we need to put...
£100 a month into OH's car to get him to work and back
£50 a month into my car to get dd to school and back
which leaves us with £413 for food, dd's karate club (£40 a term), savings for MOT and car tax, and anything else we might need.0
