OK the 3 for 2s seem like a really good option as the discount works like this as an example;
I put 3 items in my basket @ £3.50 each (on 3 for 2)
It calculates as follows
3 x £3.50 = £10.50
LESS 20% off the whole lot = £8.40
Then takes of the free one @ £3.50 = £4.90
(less the VAT change + del if not over the limit)0 -
I was going to order a rug that was £299 yesterday but when I heard about this sale I decided to wait until today. They were in stock yesterday so I put it in my basket, but today it says its out of stock? Bit of a coincidence do you think?0

I've posted this on theother discussion http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1330649
just a warning for the nominated delivery issue with the M+S sale:
I ordered a load of clothes at 12:05am this morning, all in stock, but their site took a while to show the discount code. BUT I couldn't choose a nominated delivery, other than Jan 2009, so I went to bed after the order, trying to change again this morning.
Apparantely you can't choose a nominated delivery as they are so busy, and the suggested dates are useless for us as we won't be around. Wish now I'd just gone to the shop, not sure what to do, been waiting for a sale for these items, and happy to pay extra for fast delivery. Providing we get them, it'll be ok, but if the next problem is items that said they were in stock aren't, I'll not be happy, as I'm so tired at work this morning!!0 -

If these candle gift sets suit anyone they are a real bargin.
Were £15 now £7.60 before 20% and on 3 for 2
£7.60 x 3 = £22.80
less 20% = £18.24
Less free one = £10.64
Less a bit of VAT plus p&p if not spent enough
Along with;
Myrrh inclusion candle
Christmas dinner fluted glass candleholder
Christmas plum inclusion candle
All reduced from £150 -

Made a lovely bargain today, for some reason my receipt showed 2 discounts, one for 20% and another for 30%, the whole thing worked out as over 40% discount on the total! Well chuffed, and I was also very clever this time, did my trying on yesterday then made a customer reservation for today, so could go straight to the till with my items. Thanks M&S!Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0
