BT Free Line Connection Special Offer

I'm posting this in the Internet forum as it affects quite a few people juggling with the idea of getting a BT line for an Internet where previously they've had Virgin etc.

It does mean signing up for an 18 month calling plan but I personally think the Anytime Plan is good vfm.

If you take that plan your paying BT nearly £60 a year on a 12 month contract to get Inclusive Peak 01/02/03 Calls,as you can already get Free Evening and Weekend 01/02/03 calls if you take out a 12 month contract.

Unless your a high user of peak 01/02/03 calls eg more then 99 a month IMHO your probaly be better off using www.18185.co.uk for them, also for any UK mobile calls you might make.

Note if you take the Free Connection Offer.

1.You must make at least 30 chargeable or inclusive calls via BT every three month period or 10 chargeable calls or inclusive calls per month if you are billed monthly.

2.Customers ceasing service during the minimum period of the special offer will be asked to pay, as a single payment, a sum which is equal to the total of the standard line rental charges (currently, £11.75Inc. VAT per month) left in the 18 month minimum period.
