I bought the £20 goodie bag at the Ideal Home Exhibition today........wasnt till I got home I thought it was too good to be true.........this thread was started in 2008........and today the scam is just the same..........4 perfumes 2 aftershaves a body lotion and 2 shower gels reduced from £40...........yes I have been suckered but I'll smell quite nice.:rotfl:
........just to add to what I put previously.......there's no doubt about them being 'moody' perfumes........the scent disappears after a few hours......so on my reckoning.......£20 is a good price as you'll be squirting the bottle atleast 4 times a day.....unlike the real thing.
Today I went to central London to have a day off with my friend but while exploring the area we came across a shop with a man, with a microphone, throwing away free goodies at the people screaming in front of him so my friend insisted that we checked it out, this guy seemed like quite an average nice man. He put 4 perfumes (male perfumes) on a stand and another 4 (female perfumes) on another stand and insistited that it was all free because after years they were relocating but then he put 2 of his 'best selling perfume' on top of the 4, one on each stand for the right sex and said that they were £40 but we could have them for £20 on this special occasion along with the other perfumes if we told all our friends. This was clearly a scam and the perfumes - fake.
