never got a reply , which makes me doubt the post office offer any kind of service like this ,
We also posted letter from daughter and got no response - can't remember exactly when posted but would have thought would have been early enough0 -

on their faces also one of my nephews said the other one shouldn't have it because hes naughty lol :L

Thanks x0 -
last year the money saving email sent out a link to a free video message done by something called the portable north pole (something or other). It was fantastic, totally free and my son was stunned to see FC on screen talking directly to him about his class and his wishlist (you upload a few personal details in creating the message). It was truly lovely to see his face and I really hope its repeated this year...
Viz letter, I do what apparently tolkein used to do for his kids and write one myself (with spidery writing on tea stained paper) wittering about elf and/or reindeer antics, then it arrives mysteriously at some point in the hols when they're bored - down the chimney at mine so no need for post office intermediary
The bah humbug brigade may feel this is ott or silly but its free and preserves in my children a sense of the magic and fun of the season so no harm done and as much a part as getting each of them to stir the cake mix for luck
ho ho ho0 -
I just checked the the portable north pole and doesn't appear to be up and running.
There are others though and I'm sure some on here might be able to recommend some.
If your kids are quite young kids then you could try NorthPole.com. It looks good fun.0 -

I have done this on many occasions and have never had a reply. Typical royal mail.0 -
