Pet Plan

hmm, thats worrying - I have never had a dog that's been very expensive on vets bills - my last dog as the worst, she got diabetes in her old age and had a couple of overnight vet stays, emergency treatment and ongoing check ups and insulin, over almost a year this cost £600.0

well, i am in central london and my vet is notoriously expensive...i also have a feeling that when they know they are insured (esp with Pet Plan), it is a case of no-expense spared as they will usually get reimbursed - this could have been the case with my cat

I need to get thinking about who to go with as I got accepted for the dog yay. I'd go to Pet Plan but £4,000 now isn't much.0

The top plan is back with petplan now, but the dropped the limit apparently.0

I think the limit drops as the pet gets older. Mine used to be unlimited and has now dropped to £6000 per year.

Pet Plan have got the top plan back & it used to be unlimited but now is £12,000 for life cover, i've got my Dog on that policy, £65 excess I think. I'm glad it's back, £12k should be enough or should I not have said that? Maybe this should be merged with Insurance?0

Thats good news, i'll stay with Petplan then. My new Bengal will go onto my Oscars policy and i'll be paying £27 a month but it's worth paying that for a good company. I have just received a cheque for my lost kittens purchase price from the 6 weeks free insurance she came with. I'm very pleased with them.UKTigerlily wrote: »Pet Plan have got the top plan back & it used to be unlimited but now is £12,000 for life cover, i've got my Dog on that policy, £65 excess I think.
