Head over to phones 4 U as they are doing some crazy deals on O2 contracts right now. Virtually EVERY phone is free on a £30 a month+ tariff!
I've just ordered a SE P910i for free with 200 anytime minutes and 50 sms msg's but thats double for the first 3 months all for £30 pm.
BARGIN!

£30 a month line rental is extortionate... I get pretty much the same deal from vodafone for £15 a month. Granted the phone isn't as good.0

£30 a month for a FREE P910i is a brilliant deal
O2 did a similar deal on the P900 this time last year - they soon ran out of supplies for that particular phoneHmmmmmmm0 -
I remember getting the p900 for free on £15 tariff last year from the Link.
£30 is too much a month. Unless you use it a lotYou'll Never Be Rich Working for Someone Else0 -
If you e-mail them after you have started the contract and tell them you want to change to the cheaper tariff they seem to do that without a problem therefore the first month is the only expensive one.
Might be worth a try0 -
Normally you have to wait alot longer than a month to lower your contract cost...but i may be wrong in this case as i've never used the above company0

Being a SE P900 user I decided to have a look just now at Phones4U web.
Indeed they are doing the P910i on O2 for £30 pm but to answer the question above, here is an extract from their T&Cs:
"Connection is subject to status and a minimum 12 month contract. You can change to a higher priced timeplan after 1 month or a lower priced timeplan after 6 months. "

If it had only been a 1 month minimum, then I would have participated in this too

Bearing in mind this phone costs in the region of £500 getting it for £30 X 6 + £15 X 6 = £270 isn't too shabby!0

Just got myself a nice new sony s700i for free from phones4u, couldn't find it anywhere for free online! ;D0

Went into phones4u and asked for p910 yesterday and is was sold out, you can't even preorder one cos they have no idea when the new stock is coming.
Then went into carphonewarehouse and asked for a price match on p910 with O2 200 and they did. ;DNothing is nothing0
