  • Hello - Hope you're all well...

I've done it. have to say I don't feel too good about it tho. The court itself was painless and straightforward. The telephone conversation with the OR's office was ok too, until I asked what to do about the house/mortgage - she said I'd have to sort that out separately.....(although she admitted she wasn't too sure what happens with mortgages) That's not how I thought it was going to happen - I thought it would all be wrapped up with BR? Anyway, am going to try and sit tight until the new year when I have my proper interview with OR. I spoke to CCCS this morning and they told me not to worry, so that's what i'm trying to do....
  • Hi Rubie-blu

Well done on getting through a difficult day. Try & relax now...go for a walk or something & try not to dwell on it otherwise your mind will go over & over the `what if`s` etc.

Enjoy Christmas & look forward to getting it all sorted in 2009.
  • Ah, thank you Angel. I know you're right - I just expected to either come out of there and burst into tears or feel totally relieved. I don't feel anything really just flat/numb. I suppose its the end of an era as well as anything else because its the end of my 24year (albeit unhealthy) relationship with debt!!!! so should be happy about that really!!

You have a good christmas too - I will probably be back on later or tomorrow or when I get internet at home.. x

    Hi Rubie,
well done on getting through the day ((((((())))))

I'm afraid the info about the house/mortgage is correct, the OR won't deal with the mortgage company or repossession, you'll have to do that yourself, the OR will just pick up the tab for any shortfall at the end.

Hi Rubie - glad it went well for you. Now you can concentrate on enjoying Christmas and not have to worry about the phone ringing.
