Plucking Up the Courage

Hello - I plucked up the courage and I've got my appointment on Wednesday! However, I am trying to amend my forms online and can't find how to edit them - is it the case that once you've pressed 'submit' you can't make any alterations? I need to change my address and also noticed that I've put the car information in the wrong place. Any help would be gratefully received.....

Sorry, can't help there but that is why I printed blank forms and filled them in by hand! You are correct that once you press submit you cannot make any alterations.

O that's a bit of a b****r!! I will ring CCCS (again) tomorrow - they must be sick of me now, they've commented on the number of times I've rung..... thanks anyway FYP

Rubie....I've been humming and aaarrring for nigh on 12 months. I finally rang the court today to make my date.

And do you know what??........I feel much better and I'm soooo glad I did it.

Get yourself organised and DO IT. You'll feel better, I'm sure.

You are right, I um'd and ar'd for ages and had a complete mental block about ringing to make the appointment - but as soon as I did, I felt sooo much better. No I'm just worried that I can't amend the forms - I thought I had to press submit to be able to print them out! I'm a bit computer phobic mind you. Now I can't edit them so might end up doing them all again tomorrow night before Wednesday's appearance...... When's your date? I rang last thursday and date is for wednesday!!

I had to turn the 1st 2 down coz I'm on shift and the first I could do was 30th Dec.

Re the forms...... I went to the court last week to get the official pack (it was like a football match outside with TV cameras and police everywhere. I thought what the hell....then realised the Shannon Mathews verdict was due LOL) You get 3 of everything in the pack so I used one set as a rough, with loads of crossing out and stuff. Then when I was happy with it I re-wrote another set neatly then photocoppied them twice, keeping the rough for my records.
I didn't trust myself to type em out online, although I've now progressed to typing with two fingers...one on each hand LOL!!!

I'm an expert typist but didn't do them online either - I preferred to write everything out so I didn't have to worry about computer failure!

Rubie - did you really submit them by mistake? If not print out a blank copy and fill it in by hand. If you did most of it online then it should be easy enough filling in by hand cause you probably know most of the answers. Any questions just pop them on here.

Yes, I really submitted them by mistake! As I seem to be a bit 'away with the fairies' most of the time, it doesn't surprise me, but it fills me with dread that my day in court won't be straight forward - probably cos I'll do something stupid or not understand a simple request/instruction! Hey Ho! Thank you for your wishes FYP - I won't be around myself tomorrow, as not on line at new house so can only snatch forum time after hours at my office! But I will try and let you know how it went on Thursday! TT4N x
