Thos who need more inputs, could always just buy a scart switcher at £1.99 ...

Connect your TV output to one of the 3 scart inputs & leaving two inputs for other audio/video devices (it's easy to source scart-phono adapters etc)

Progressive scan differs from interlaced scan in that the image is displayed on a screen by scanning each line (or row of pixels) in a sequential order rather than an alternate order, as is done with interlaced scan. In other words, in progressive scan, the image lines (or pixel rows) are scanned in numerical order (1,2,3) down the screen from top to bottom, instead of in an alternate order (lines or rows 1,3,5, etc... followed by lines or rows 2,4,6). By progressively scanning the image onto a screen every 60th of a second rather than "interlacing" alternate lines every 30th of a second, a smoother, more detailed, image can be produced on the screen that is perfectly suited for viewing fine details, such as text, and is also less susceptible to interlace flicker.

Theres more info on it here which shows pictures on how it works:-

Following another call to customer service they said the price is £149.95 and thats the price unless I see it cheaper elsewhere. I also spoke to my local branch who have it on sale for £139.95 so cheaper than their web? Spoke to customer service again who will match their branch price but not reduce it any further even though Kelkoo price is still incorrect. Give up with them now, think I'll go elsewhere and get another sytem altogether, shame as I liked the look of this one but refuse to pay over the odds. Thanks for the help all the same.

Just spoke to my local Richer sounds....it's £119.99 for the multi region version of this model.

He said that the £99.995 deal was for region 2 model only (hence lower price)...but didn't seem to relaise that the price has now been raised to £149.95!!!

Good to see price standardisation across the company!!!
