Free Elizabeth Arden Capsules & Cleanser Gift with Any ORDER From Kaleidoscope

The story continues......Are we all sitting comfortably?
I emailed Kaleidoscope to complain about the lack of free gift and asked them to refund my delivery. Here is the reply.....
"We are sorry that you feel that you have not received the level of customer service that you have every right to expect from Kaleidoscope.
However, we have received a huge response to the offer of the Elizabeth Arden set, and our available stock soon became exhausted. Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure any further supplies of this gift, and have to our disappointment, had no choice but to cancel the gift.
At the point of your order being placed, the clerk would not have been aware of the stock problems with the gift, so would not be able to advise you that the gift was no longer available.
Although, the offer of a free gift is an incentive for our customers to place an order, it is advised that the despatch of all gifts is subject to stock availability, and we would not suggest that an order is processed purely to receive a free gift."
In a nutshell, I guess they are saying they don't have to honour any free gift offers they make and not to order from them if you are primarily interested in the gift!!!
I don't really have a comment on their attitude that doesn't involve a swear word so I think I'll just leave it there. I do know I will never order from them again and they are definitely off my christmas card list :mad:0 -

Hi,
I know this is over, but for those of you who really wanted the Ceramides offer, I got some of these red boxes at Superdrug a few months back for £15 (and 10% off if you buy something, fill in the online questionnaire and write down the code in the receipt for next time). They came with either 60 regular ceramides, body cream and something I can't remember or there were pack with 30 regular and 30 eye ceramides plus something.
The boxes were by the fragrance counter at Superdrug. They also had just the ceramides in a golden outer box for £15. Still bargains for such an expensive item.
Hope this helps.0 -
