EA won't let me view rented property for sale

Saw a property for sale in my local EA. The conversation went like this: Me: Can I view this property? EA: No, tenants have just moved in. Me: Oh. So the property is no longer for sale? EA: It is, but they have decided to rent it out until it sells. Me: So can I arrange a viewing? EA: No, because it's only in the tenants…

What I find stunning is some peoples failure to understand why the OP was confused that he got the response from the Estate Agent.

Everyone is moaning and telling him to think of the tenents etc, but why should he?

The house is being advertised as being for sale. He is interested in the house and wants to take a look. The EA is telling him he can't!!! Totally stupid and crazy situation. Most expensive purchase someone is likely to make and they are not allowed to view it.

I think Dudes needs to forget about this property and move on. If you are having problems now without even having set foot in the place, avoid at all costs.
