Boiler Restarting advice please

So, first theory would be there is no spark to light pilot to light main burner. Check electrical connections, spark lead, spark electrode.
Check power is isolated and only undertake work that you or OH are confident or more importantly compentent of doing. Otherwise don't attempt and get Corgi in. Good luck.
p.s. if you listen carefully you can usually hear the pilot sparking (or not if is the case)0 -
I would get an engineer in now. Almost certainly the PCB, as was said before, but no Corgi is going to try and repair it unfortunately.0

Why won't a corgi fix it? Do I need an electrician then? Is this gonna be really expensive? Perhaps we should have the emersion heater reconnected until warm front can fix the boiler?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

!!!!!!, the fact that it hasnt sparked the pilot is NO indication that the pcb has gone-you can't "guess" it into working no mater how hard you try, and a "corgi" is a dog, the corgi you are referring to is just a governing body who do not repair anything, read through your manual first then phone the manufacturers and ask to speak to there technical dept, they should be able to advise you over the phone as to what is wrong and if your doing something silly, there is sometimes a sequence you need to follow to re-ignite a boiler, and please dont think about "by-passing" the red reset button , its there for a reason0

Got a plumber out. You'll never guess ... There was water in it ~ not sure where. I think it must have been snow blown in through the vent. Anyhoo, we're up and running again, and only £30. Marvellous.
