ADSL24, No connection at all!

Hi all, this is my first post, and its not good news, 12 days after activation i havent had any connection at all, after loads off calls to cs and ts, somtimes three times a day, they always say the same thing "OH theres a BT engineer out looking at it ring back in three to four hours" ive got to the point where i just want my money back, but according to theyre cs i cant have it!
Can they keep my money if they havent given me any service? what should i do now?
