What age is ds2 holly ?
Is he still at the stage where he does not realise he is doing something wrong, just getting excited with all the toys ?
My DS is 17 months and always seems to want to the toy that another child has picked up! Thankfully he is napping now :), so I can sort some other bits and hopefully knit too.

He'll be 3 in January. I'm sure he does know it's wrong. One of the times Ds2 pushed a little boy off a chair as he was trying to set the table and he was in his way. So there was some logic to his thinking, i've just got to find a way to stop him being so forcefull.

Thanks for the wishes regarding my hearing aid, common sense has prevailed at Stoke Manderville Hospital, and the different lady I spoke to on the phone is going to post me 2 plastic bits out, so I should get them for tomorrow morning, one to use, one for spare. Result!

Cs I would persue the matter with the school, etc.

I have just had arrive an 8gb memory stick as all my other small ones are full, just loaded all my photos etc onto it and there is still loads of room on it.

  • Boddy - thanks for the "headsup" on stamps! I'll scoot down to town tomorrow.

Just a quick update coz going to collect DS.

I've been busy in our bedroom and sorted all my cupboards and drawers. I now have a bag for the Charity shop. After I've collected DS, I'm going to crack on with the cleaning, but I'll have to ignore OH's stuff. I've been asking him to tidy up for months! He's away for the next two weekends, so he can jolly well get on with it the next one - unless he make sup his mind to do it one evening. Re: finances, one possibility might be the 0% Virgin card (as long as it's cut up when it arrives) but I still need him to sit down and go through it all with me. He leaves me to do it all and goes ape if I get it wrong, but won't help to sort it. Does anyoen have any other suggestions? Not sure if he'd go with the card confiscation.

Kaz... most areas have private audiology services which will very often give out little bits like that and do minor repairs free of charge.. they are paid that much money by everyone who does pay it doesn't damage the books to offer alittle bit of support to those who cannot afford to pay for it. My mother has hearing aids too and collects little bits like tubes and batteries from the private clinic and they claim the cost of batteries back from the NHS..

Best go put some clothes on and go collect the chillies!

  • Lol Hollyh, I washed DD1's pink teddy last week and the exact same thing happened, she threw herself on the floor as if pink teddy was getting tortured. God knows what we'll do if we lose him. We thought we'd lost him last week and the only place we could find a replacement was on hamleys website. The website was out of stock so I had some poor woman from the Hamleys shop looking round hamleys for him! Turns out they don't stock them anymore, just the bigger versions, but there's no way she will be fooled by that! Fortunatley, we found him in the end, sitting on my Mums cistern!!
