DH on the way to the garage now, will wait and see what they find. Really like the car but the garage we go to is pretty awful but the nearest by far so will make do. Will let you what they find if anything!0

Car went to the garage this am. Radio software updated. Heater working fine this am!!
However we needed 4 new tyres:eek: It has only done 16500 miles! Just over 300.00 at costco today for the tyre, they were the cheapest. So much for trying to save money, but we are lucky as we have savings and we won't compromise on saftey. Beans and toast for xmas dinner:D 0 -
Surprised it needed four tyres, is it a 4x4? I have an Octavia 1.9 tdi estate which is 18 months old and is kust coming up to 24000 miles, I need to replace the front tyres this week but the rears are fine.It's my problem, it's my problem

no 1.9tds saloon mid range model, miles mostly little trips, however same with previous cars short trips and no new tyres in the 3-4 years we had them. My husbands seat is 3 yrs old 48000 mile and has only just had 2 new front tyres although it is used for motorway driving. Anyway its done now.0
