Hi
I'm thinking of leaving primus for aol , for phone and broband ( yes i do need a laptop) .
How do people find them on the phone side of things with billing service etc . I've heard the rumours aohell etc but if the broband was crap surely it would be more then an urban myth or is it just that . Your thoughts would be useful

I've been with aol for years. All was good until the company was taken over last year. I telephoned to cancel my contract and was offered a cut price deal which I foolishly accepted. Broadband - very often cut off (read 'aol has encountered a problem'), so sllooooww, usual services disappeared and a lot of very disatisfied punters. My 'new' contract will be up in December and I for one can't wait to say a final goodbye to aol.0

AOL are AWFUL!!!!!
I had to pay them a £30 odd bill TWICE!!! I know I shouldn't have but they sold the debt on blah de blah and I just wanted to get them all off my back.
I have NEVER been chased for non payment before on anything. And I know I paid. They are crooks as far as I am concerned.
IMO go with anybody BUT AOL.0 -
been with them for 6 years with very little problems and found the telephone helpline very useful, plus its not a premium rate, i dont see the problem but then i have never used broadband from anyone else.0
