if the battery was as flat as 10v some alternators will compensate for this after starting,i know some fords do this they can charge up to 17v for a short period of time after starting the vehicle from a near flat battery.
check it now it has a good new battery on it. it should be around 14v maybe even nearer 15 with some revs....work permit granted!0
