Well another day and another trip to the vets.

The specialists are no further forward to she has been admitted again for more tests including MRI scans and they have estimated costs of another £2k

Not hopeful with the job either as I am up against 7 other people. Will do my best can do no more.

  • sorry to hear about Ruby - my Nell's also a springer - but we cant get insurance for her as she was a rescue dog so no idea how old she is, found her on the way to work one morning. I don't know if your new financial situation would now qualify for PDSA vets instead - also knew of someone who didn't qualify as not on any benefit but like alot of people had no spare cash for vet bills, friend who was on income support took the dog to PDSA & said it was theirs so he had the much needed op - did you see the Tonight programme on bogus vet bills - its a disgrace!

Don't forget you have a 1 in 8 chance of success - the same as all the other candidates! You know what they are looking for so make sure you show them you are the one. Whatever your line of business, I would say virtually every employer is looking for someone who can work well as part of a team and who can communicate well and get on with most people, whilst delivering what is required to the highest standard. Keep those points in mind and you won't go far wrong.

I'm sorry to hear about Ruby. I can't believe this ordeal isn't over yet! I hope they come to a conclusion soon.

    Afternoon everyone.

OMG they still don't know whats wrong with Ruby.

She is still at the specialists. The rather tasty vet just rang and he said there is still nothing obvious they can find but her temp has come down again so it may be whatever she had is finally on its way out. So she has got to stay in another 24 hours at least for more blood tests and observations. I miss her soooooooooooooooo much.

Had an interesting walk home from work. Some very old trampy bloke flashed at me. Is it bad it made me smile lol
