Getting an iPhone... pac code question

I've decided that I'm getting an iPhone. I'm currently on an o2 contract, so I know that it would be as simple as walking into the shop, or phoning up, and they'll upgrade me.
However, Quidco do £45 cashback when ordering through their website. It says on their site that you can't do this for upgrades...

What i'm wondering is if i get at PAC code from o2, put it in on the Carphone Warehouse site and order as usual, will that work? Or am i just going to create millions of problems for myself that far out weigh the £45!?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

You can't use a PAC with the same network. You would have to use it to move to PAYG on another network then port back to O2 again.

You can't use a PAC to move to the same network. In order to get the CPW cashback you'll have to port to a different network and then port back again.

That isn't entirely true actually, beacause I moved from PAYG to Contract on o2 using a PAC code (even tho o2 and dial-a-phone both told me that I couldnt!).
My original plan was to do the whole switching to an orange PAYG and back again, but i didn't actually need to!

However, it may be the case when moving from contract to contract... :(

convert to o2 payg then back to contract, ive done it ( was 4 years ago tho ) doubt o2 let you though as to get cashback you will need to port out & back in - so tell o2 retentions your looking for a £50 sweetner or taking your business to Orange on a HTC HD, or Blackberry Storm with Voda - they are both touchscreen I-plod competitive handsets & Exclusive to other 2 nets just now
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
