Few Dell questions

Number one - PLEASE does anyone have a phone number (preferable for small business) that doesn't take me to an Indian call centre (they don't understand what I want) ???

2) The Dell site offers 1 year on site warranty etc - the minimum you can buy is their 90 day collect and return service - does this mean I don't get a standard manufacturers 1 year warranty if I choose this?? Their site isn't clear and I can't get an answer on the phone as they don't get what I mean

I don't want to fork out for a 1 year service thing if I am covered for a year anyway if anything goes wrong.

Any help much appreciated as I am purchasing for my uncle and need to buy before Dells offers run out on the 4th January

If you do miss the deadline, don't worry too much, as Dell seem to have special offers on all the time.

you could try saynoto0870 website which should give you a number to Dell in Ireland the number starts 01344 (cannot remember the rest), they may put you through to the English call centre (keep on insisting with them)but when I have phoned on numerous occassions 90% of the time you have to go through to the indain call centre which is no use at all as you feel like you are going backwards, they are very ploite but cannot help most of the time and I kept being bounced ariund to different people in the call centre

Does that mean that we get a 15 month warranty in total then?

This honestly driving me mad - I FINALLY managed to get thorugh to an Irish call centre - by going through to technical support and .............. he put me through to a Indian call centre WITHOUT LISTENING TO ME - this is relly driving me up the wall - all their number son the contact us page seem to eventually lead to an Indian call centre. aarrrggghhhh. I even emailed them and asked for a direct number to a UK or Irish call centre - but so far nothing

No. It's a years cover. The first 90 days of which is collect and return, and the remaining 275 days is return to base.
