IF the above is too expensive for you, substitite gorgonzola with stilton or danish blue amshed with a bit of cream cheese (Sainsburys basics stilton really nice) and pinenuts with sunflower seeds - still lovely and just as tasty!

  • I like the Jamie Oliver recipie:

Chop an onion & red chilli - fry until soft
Add 2 tablespoons of red pesto, 390g carton chopped tomatoes with olive oil and garlic and 200ml water
    Cook Gnocchi following instructions
Add gnocchi to sauce and cook in oven for 20 mins (add breadcrumbs and cheese on top if you wish)

    mmmmmmmmmmm

Gnocchi in Italy is used as a tasty alternative to pasta, and generally the same sauces and dressing are used. A favourite of mine, stupidly simple, is to just sprinkle bits of gorgonzola on it, and toss it around so it melts nicely through and through. Not recommended if you want to lose weight, lol.

When I was home on holiday, my mum made fresh gnocchi and dressed it with (also just made) tomato, garlic and basil sauce. Yummy...
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

We got to this little Italian restuarant sometimes, and my favourite dish there is gnocchi with pesto.
