Someone gave me a box (10 packs) of 24 hour army rations. On the side it's got printed "06/04"...is this the use by date or the manufacture date?
Thanks
Thanks

how do you know he stole it, they get given away......tho most people dont take them after an exercise. I have had a box full of boiled sweets in my office for the past 2 months that was kindly dumped......just binned them all as no one took any......wasteful i know but what else are you going to do with them??0

Thanks that helps. The foil bags look like the Wayfayrer food, so should be well nice, love the Yorkie bars (2) :beer:Founder member MSE Jet Airways Mile High Club

my hubby always brought rations back from exercise - mostly because he hated them all and lived on noodles that he bought himself. Doesn't seem to me that anyone stole anything and I'm sure that ration packs are not on the top of anyones burglary list. They are blumin awful (although to be fair they probably taste better then any of my attempts at cooking! lol)0
