• Hello,

I transfered a single ISA to IceSave several months prior to it's collapase.

I have been very relaxed about receiving trhe compensation as I first heard that al the money would be repatriated by the end of November 2008.

I have recently heard that this deadline has slipped to the end of Decmber 2008.

I am in urgent need of receiving the money.

I have read the satement on the icesave site which explains about the two emails.

I have no however recieved ANY emails, not even the first email, let alone the one which informs you that the money is now ready to be transfered out.

Have I got to do anything proactive to speed up the reciept of my money or is it purely a case of waiting and hoping?

Is there any more information on dates of finally recieving the compensation.

Many thanks

Have you contacted the FSCS about not receiving any emails?

Read the FAQs first;

Also log in to your Icesave account and see if you can initiate your claim. Most people have now received their 2nd email.
• I've had my cash for 3 weeks now(thank goodness), but as yet, no certificate. Anyone else in this boat?

Anyway, thanks for the information from the previously poster - why couldn't they link such a useful docuent from the icesave.co.uk site, huh? Very useful doc. I' going to email Icesave@fscs.org.uk and see what happens, if anything!!

People are saying the certs should be expected around late December, now.

Yes, I 'phoned the FSCS on Friday and they confirmed this. Now moved my ex Icesave ISa funds to a higher interest account in the interim. Actually the net rate for the account my ISa cash is in is better than most current tax free ISa gross rates! I might just leave it there until nexrt March!

Exactly - I'm in no rush to get the certificate, given how rubbish ISA rates are at the moment.
