When I log onto my pc a window comes up stating problem running -
C:\WINDOWS\System32/MSA64CHK.dll
I just click on ok - it disappears until next time I log on.
I read somewhere that it is a left-over from some spyware (don't know if I've got this right or not) and that there are free downloads to remove it and it will not appear again.
With the rush of Xmas etc I did not take much notice and now cannot for the life of me find any reference to this file anywhere.
Has anybody else had this problem? Can anyone advise how to remove please?
Many thanks.

Have you ran msconfig and checked if it's in the Startup section?
If it's not there then search for it in the registry, it'll probably be under a Run entry somewhere...0 -
like you say, it was MatrixDialer related
do the above, if that does not work then download Ace Utilities from www.acelogix.com
and run the Registry clean option and the fix invalid shortcut options
it's free and will work for 30 days trial (but once your problem is fixed then its ok !)
I see you had another problem with Macaffee, are you sure that your PC is still not infected with spyware ??
what did you use to remove it ??
I think it's better if we deal with this and the other problem in this thread
