How long does it take for purchases using Clubcard vouchers take to show up on your BA Miles account? Will it credit in time to take advantage of this offer?

My experience says minimum two working days. Depends on how busy they are as well, as they seem to do this manually.

No chance getting them in time for this deal :( Hopefully they will extend this offer :)

Most feeder flights into London are free (apart from taxes and surcharges) when you book a long haul trip with BA.

Fine, wheres the BA feeder flight from Inverness? Oh dear, they dropped it a year ago!

London Airways then should be renamed to...

    That's the general idea.

No point in the major airlines trying to compete with the budget airlines on .....

I agree with your general points, but when did an European city became long haul?
    That was the point.

Inverness feeder flights go into Gatwick and are a codeshare with FlyBe. They are still free as part of a through ticket, apart from taxes/surcharges of approx £30 each way.

Read my post. I didn't say they were.

    I said:

No point in the major airlines trying to compete with the budget airlines on short haul flights. They've generally left that market.

anyone got any inside knowledge on if they're likely to be doing something like this again any time soon?

    Thanks for that. I am.

But they don't tell you if they're *going* to be doing such a thing until shortly before they do. So I was wondering if there were any people with inside knowledge hovering around on the forum, e.g. are they planning on running a similar promotion this autumn, say.

I presume they have monies associated with miles stashed away as a provision in their accounts to 'pay' for redemptions. It'd be a way to get bums on seats and free up some of that money effectively as revenue.

Don't think they know themselves, could be anytime or not at all.
