fay if you get a slowcooker go for a 6.5 litre one - makes enough for 3/4 people for tea with enough to freeze for another day:D 2 days meals sorted with very little effort.

How did I ever manage before my slow cooker? Made huge batch of spag boll sauce with 3/3 of two packs of mince (3 for £10.00 in Tesco). Use red pesto this time - yum! this made four family sized portion for freezer (also made vege boll for vege daughter). Sherd pie (family joke from dyslexic friends recipte for Shephards Pie) with remaining 1/3 and used 50p swedes (special) with potato for mash topping - separate batch for vege daughter. Three batches of washing drying on rack (did not dry outside as too cold). Cleaned bathroom with stardrops and vinegar (brilliant cleaner). Checked bank account. Sourced cheap TV from Aldi (tomorrow) for daughter`s bedroom. Defrosted homemade curry and sag aloo fo tonight to have with rest of leftover rice (husband thought we were feeding the road, seemingly, two days ago).
Did not write letter to council or do reports for work - major black mark.
Debt September 2020 BIG FAT ZERO!
Now mortgage free, sort of retired, reducing and reusing and putting money away for grandchildren...
