Saturday 22/11/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

:D When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today I will:
  • check online banking
  • make a loaf in breadmaker
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
  • storecupboard lunch
  • pick up some bargain veggies at market
  • unpack and connect dishwasher that has just been delivered for oldies kitchen at work - not moneysaving but will save ME lots of work over xmas
  • use up veggies in fridge to make stew in slowcooker
  • clean house with stardrops and microfibre cloths
  • pick up free 6 pack crisps from asda - coupon in daily mirror
  • activate two macdonalds 2 for 1 cinema vouchers I have been given- DD can use with friends
Happy Saturday everyone, hope you are all well and have nice things planned. Hugs to anyone feeling poorly today.
Trip to town for bargains today, veggies from market etc. Start spring cleaning flat this afternoon for xmas, will be busy over December so going to do a bit each weekend - decluttering to charity shop:D Also nag DD to muck out (literally) her bedroom - less said about that the better:rolleyes:
Hope you all have a good day, catch up with you later.XX

  • Just use it up in recipes, works just same as milk, make it up first then add as needed. I always did this when I had baby milk to use up.:D
