But what about situations like the one we're in now where prices increased significantly a couple of months ago? If it's not assessed to appropriateness debt builds very quickly over the winter and results in an even bigger increase whenever the review is.
As there is no published policies or calculation methods, nobody can see whether it is being done fairly. So the flak is totally predictable and dare I say, justified.

Now I remember why I ignore your posts because you rant and rave and can't ever back up your statement. Show me where it says this and if it's the old link you've quoted before you should read it first.

Back on the ignore list ....

I posted the same to him weeks ago and was never responded to. Funny how he keeps quoting the same rubbish but can't back it up!

And other daft comment. So you've obviously read all the comments from people who work for energy suppliers and seen that they're all tainted and corrupt and none of us help anyone.
You help brysie, within the policies of your company. But here, it is fair game to subject the policies to scrutiny. So employees of energy utilities should declare themselves.
We're also not entitled to be able to express views on an industry we know about and we're all 100% loyal to everything our emplyers do.

    Grow up.
You can express what you like, but we need to know what hat you are wearing when you do it. I think you are becoming a little tired and stressed. Perhaps you should have a little rest.

Even if it is not in the rules, can you not see that you need to declare it with every post?

Settle down and don't let the blood pressure get too high. It's admirable that you are Eon's spokesman. No, really it is. I just hope they are paying you handsomely for your loyalty. lol @ "grow up." This coming from a guy who calls himself Brysiewysie.

Ooohh, I rest my case again. You people have had it all your own way on here for too long. Many of you post during traditional office hours as well, which I also find highly suspicious. If you don't think you should make it clear you DERIVE YOUR LIVELIHOOD FROM THE INDUSTRY YOU DEFEND ON HERE, THEN ALLOW ME TO PUT PEOPLE RIGHT AFTER EACH OF YOUR POSTS! Deal? :p

It's common sense, really. You derive your livelihood from the energy industry, you are posting on one of the busiest forums dedicated to discussing the industry but think it appropriate to not tell people where you work in your posts? What have you got to hide? If nothing, I'm sure you will in future TELL US YOU WORK IN THE INDUSTRY YOU ARE PONTIFICATING ABOUT ON HERE.

  • I do think it's underhanded not to mention if you work for the energy industry. I'm beginning to wonder who else on this forum works for these energy companies and do not declare it!

There's literally loads, I assure you. They aren't actually that difficult to spot once you get used to their communal utterances. :p

One shining beacon of light in all this murkiness is the poster WhistleBlower who clearly states in his signature where he works. Interestingly enough, he's probably the most helpful of the lot of them as well as being the one who doesn't come across as some sort of energy industry-sponsored Stepford husband. Co-incidence?

  • What I find strange is the way people feel they have a loyalty to their employer, so much so they spout their company mantra as if it's the gospel truth, without any thinking on their own. What happened to free thinking?
