Got the nerve up to do another Tesco shop
Spent way over £40 - or so I thought, as some of the clothing items were even cheaper than their tags before the 20% kicked in.
Anyway, final total was over £40, but no way were there £40 worth of clothings.

REALLY really annoyed ( can you imagine) that the bill was cheaper than I thought it would be (lol :o )
    But, thought what the heck.
    Handed sa £10 off £40 clothes/toy spend - worked !!
    Handed sa £5 off £25 clothes/toy spend - worked !!!
Handed sa £5 off wys £30 general shopping - worked !!!!!

    One very happy shopper:T

It's been mentioned on www.paidtoshop.co.uk that the Sun toy/clothes coupons do not work against general shopping, apparently. I haven't tested one this way but they do work on the original toy/clothing total before any 20% or BOGOF type offers. So they work in our favour.

E.g. I bought some toys including 4 Dr Who figures which were £7.97 each BOGOF and the till included the 2 BOGOF free toys in my total toy spend. Definitely works this way but you have to get your sums right to make sure the toy/clothes spend is over £40 before discounts.

I had also bought some groceries to bring my shop over £40 altogether but the actual toy spend was only about £22 after BOGOFs. Both Sun vouchers worked plus last Sunday's NOTW fiver and some other random nss mocs as well.

Oh, and I don't think the toy/clothing vouchers will work against consoles, games or DVDs as these are electricals. And it's been said on pts that they don't work against craft items and possibly not jigsaws (it's a separate aisle for stationery/puzzles/craft in most Extras). You need to buy items from the main toy aisles AFAIK, not character puzzles/stationery/craft items.

That voucher is for general shopping whereas the one in today's is for clothes or toys.

Will your T's not accept it on grocery shopping? Ours does...:confused::confused:

    DAILY EXPRESS

FREE - CHOCOLATE ADVENT CALENDAR - Voucher redemption at SUPERDRUG - PAGE 47

Bought 2 express so I had 2 vouchers, for 2 free calendars.....
But, there was a sel showing one for £2.25 2 for £2.50 - I think it was, or might have been £2.99.
Anyway, kicking myself as it would probably have been cheaper to get 2 calendars in Superdrug and use one voucher, rather than buying 2 papers !
    Does that make sense ?!
So if you are going in with ONE voucher - see if it is worth getting a much discounted second one while you are there !!

ps is £40 spend with 20%off or do i have to make sure total is over £40 with 20%added

    thanks

YES £40 spend gets £20 off, and according to Coupon-Mad, it can be £40 before the 20% off - I certainly hadn't spent £40 after the 20%.
