Pizza Hut

Is it just the ones that I've been in, or is the customer service in all Pizza Huts completely and utterly pants?

Today I went to Pizza Hut, I had to ask for clean napkins and cutlery, the attitude of one of the waitresses left alot to be desired for, tables weren't cleared before the next course, waiting 20 minutes for the bill seemed to be the norm for everyone (some people even went to the till), I had to ask for parts of the order which had become forgotton about, several tables weren't set.

So...are all Pizza Huts this bad? :rolleyes:

when I pay for a meal in a restaurant I expect a reasonable level of service. If you can't do a job properly, get a new one!

they usually can do the job properly, its just they are so short staffed they cant.

I know customers dont see it, but each waitress has a section of usually 12tables to look after.

I don't doubt that it's hard work, but when there's 5 tables of customers, no one with meals after 20+ minutes, tables unset, customers having to ask for cutlery and clean napkins, people waiting to be seated and no waiters/waitresses in sight, something is sadly wrong....especially when you see in the kitchen (you could see from where I was sat) that the 2 waitresses are too busy slacking off talking in the kitchen - one moreso than the other there's just no call for it.

Sssssss, why do you think your sniping is relevant? Being a waiter is hard work, like many people I've done it. And there have been times when I have worked for really bad firms and there's a lot of short-staffing etc. And sometimes the waiting staff get the blame unfairly. But that is not what is happening here, the OP is simply asking if Pizza Huts are always this bad, regardless of the reason. If Pizza Hut cannot provide enough staff, or pay them properly, or train them properly, then this is a valid reason to criticise Pizza Hut.

See? It's simple, isn't it? The question is 'have you had bad experiences of Pizza Hut for any reason?' Answer is yes or no, possibly followed by an appropriate, perhaps anecdotal, explanation. Or you can just not answer. Anything else is just pointless.

For the record, OP, I wouldn't be seen dead in a Pizza Hut even if the service was excellent. I think their food is horrendous, or at least it was when I last went to one years ago. So I don't know, sorry!

Truthfully, I doubt I'll be going back. We used to go there alot years and years ago, but having not been there for quite a long time we decided that we'd go back - I'm wishing that I hadn't TBH.

No, not all Pizza Huts are this bad, and you should have been discounted for such sh*t service. My suggestion would be to complain to the head office/customer services dept.

I was a manager at a delivery unit and the standards both in that Hut and the one I trained in originally were exceptional. I no longer work for Pizza Hut so have no reason to lie. I was happy for my family/friends to eat from there because I knew the places were clean and the atmosphere was positive for both staff and customers.

Unfortunately not all Huts keep to high standards but please don't judge them all on such bad service. As I said, complain to the head office as they are very "customer satisfaction" orientated.
