Maclaren Twin Traveller- Any advice?

We bought a Twin Traveller for the boys (21 months apart). I haven't had any problems with wheel wear or anything, but I do find it very heavy. Folding it up to put it on a bus or anything would be a job for two.
Worst problem with it I found was that the way the handles are angled means its hell on your arms - especially if the two you're pushing aren't evenly sized. DS3 is now 2, and DS2 getting towards four - so they are quite heavy, and I find myself struggling to push, and with an aching arm. Also, my Mum, who suffers from Tennis elbow, has never been able to push the T.T. - she's never had any problem with other buggies, and pushes them around in her charity shop tandem without a problem - but there's something about the way the T.T. requires you to twist your arm that is a killer.

I much prefered the one in front and one behind for my 2 as it was easier to get around with. One day I might be more organised...........
